I clipped, cut and sorted my way to organization

>> Monday, February 9, 2009

I got all my coupons cut and properly put away in my organizer. It took me an hour but I got it done. Then I looked at the ads to see what great deals I was going to get this week except there was not anything of major importance I needed. I am not buying things if I have an abundance in my closets.

I ended up at Kroger and got 8 packs of toilet paper for $1. I love getting free or nearly free toilet paper because it goes right down the crapper anyway. (sorry, I crack my self up...crack?....sorry)

Even if you do not shop at Kroger but have one near by it is worth it to make a quick trip in to get cottonelle toilet paper 4pks for free. There are coupons in the Sunday's inserts and you can often find them online as well. I also buy most of my milk at Kroger's because it is on sale every week.

After that my daughter and I ran to Aldi for some stock up foods. If you don't have coupon match ups then Aldi is always a good choice. There I can get some cheap fruit, frozen foods, dairy and soups.

Good tips. A very helpful website. I just came across another useful website on the current economic downturn and savings: http://www.recessioninfocenter.com
