I get so confused when I see abbreviations about coupons. So here are the lingo connected with coupon usage.
ECB's - These are extra care bucks you earn at CVS on certain products. These print at the end of your receipt so make sure you save them. They are basically cash that you can use on your next purchase. Some restrictions apply, lotto, tobacco, liquor are not allowed.
RR - Walgreen's Register Rewards. This is their version of extra care bucks.
ES - Easy Saver Catalog published monthly at Walgreen's
IVC - Instant value coupon found at Walgreen's easy saver catalog
SS - Smart Source (newspaper insert)
RP - Red Plum (newspaper insert)
P & G - Proctor and Gamble (newspaper insert)
Stacking - When you use a manufacture coupon with an in store sale, coupon
BOGO or B1G1 - Buy one get one free
OOP - Out of Pocket
FAR - Free after rebate
CRT - Cash register receipt
Blinkie - A coupon you can get from a machine in store
Peelie - A coupon that comes off the product itself
Catalina - These are coupons that print out with your receipt at stores
Overage - When you make a profit off the product
Filler - An inexpensive item you use to make sure you get your maximum savings
